Abstract

In the context of judicial and family processes arising from high-conflict divorces involving parental manipulation, there is an urgent need to develop intervention models that go beyond a punitive approach and promote the restoration of relationships. In this regard, the master’s thesis “Beyond conflict: transforming divorce with parental manipulation through the systemic approach and restorative practices” by Ochoa Valdivia (2025) enables this letter to report the content validation of the Kintsugi Model of Family Resignification as an integrative proposal linking systemic therapy and restorative justice, by offering a theoretical–methodological framework that addresses the emotional, relational, and ethical dimensions of family conflict.
